Flick Adele has been reading and writing 
                                   fantasy fiction  almost since the day he could hold 
                               a pen. His very first book was a rousing failure that even 
                              his mother was unable to endorse. Of course, at the ripe
                             old age of seven, she did suggest that he had plenty of time 
                            to perfect his  craft. Fortunately for us, over the course of 
                            the next thirty-plus  years he did just that. 

                                  Though he is himself notoriously shy, Flick's characters 
                              are fun, wildly unpredictable, and endlessly entertaining.
